맥 좋죠....근데 맥이 아니라서리....

필요하신 프로그램 잇으면 연락 주세요.. 제가 혹시 있으면 부담없이 드리겠습니다..

저 이번 택스프리데이에 맥 살꺼거든요. 언제 맥유저그룹하나 만들죠. 벙개모임하나 해서 민기아빠님의 맥좀 구경시켜 주세요.

언제든지 상관없습니다.. 너무 많이 오시면 부담이 될듯 하지만 3-5 명 사이라면 얼마든지.. :-) 저녁은 알아서 해결해야 합니다.. 제가 저녁을 라면이나 시리얼로 때우는 편이라.. :-)

음식 사가지고 오시는분들은 대 환영입니다... :-)

맥북 프로 씁니다. 오에스 9.1부터 썼구요. QIP하느라요. 참 quark하고..

민기아빠님은 별로 걱정 안하셔도 될거같은데.. 맥유저가 모 얼마나 되겠습니까....ㅋㅋ
근데.. 저녁 저렇게 드시면 건강에 안조은데...쩝 수고스럽더라도 잘 챙겨드시는게 최곱니다..^^

택스 프리데이가 아마 한 8, 9월 쯤이 아닌가 싶네요. 이때쯤 되면 OS leopard가 이미 출시가 되었겠죠? ㅋㅋ

그놈의 레오파드 기다리다가는 아무것도 못살것 같습니다.
맥 데스크탑을 하나 사볼까 했었는데 워낙에 비싼대다가 레오파드가 늦어지니까 이젠 못기다리겠네요..ㅠㅠ
맥은 그냥 맥북으로 경험한걸로 만족하고...
좀 괜찮은 아범 하나 조립이나 해야겠습니다...ㅋ
근데 영 아범은 게임용같다는....ㅡ.ㅡ;;

I wouldn't wait on buyig Mac for Leopard. You can always upgrade once it's released. I don't think that should be your buying decision.

As for the Mac itself, it's a pricey computer, but it's more of 'total' package. I've been using the PC for a long time, but with constant update/security issue/virus/etc got me switched. Plus, with mac, i can run OSX, Windows XP, and Ubuntu as needed.

I am currently using OSX with XP in vmware. But I also have Ubuntu installed with boot camp for work related.

레오파드 나오면 그걸 따로 사야되기때문에 그거 돈이 아까워서 그렇게는 못하겠더라구요..ㅠ
그리고.... 저도 사실 지금 XP랑 비슷하랑 맥에서 돌리고 있는데, 솔직히 Parallels 로 돌리는거 너무 버벅대요..^^

맥 살돈도 없고.... 데스크탑이라면 아이맥이나 맥프로밖에 없는데 둘다 거의 미친가격이니...쩝
그냥... 인생이 좀 저렴하네요..^0^

Try vmware. It's in beta right now, and it's actually "faster" than parallel.

As for desktop, you are right. There are only imac and mac pro. Mac Pro is somewhat costly for most people, but iMac is not a bad deal considering that it comes with very nice monitor. You can probably go buy or build cheaper PC. The choice is up to you.

I do not play a lot of games, so having PC is overkill for me. I use computer mostly for imaging and videos (for future), and for that, Mac is far better than PC due to its stability and "mostly" free of virus and such.

With XP, I remember having to re-install almost every year. Ever since I used OSX, I haven't rebooted in a while except when there is a big patch comes out which forces me to reboot. Other than that, it's very decent and stable OS.

I think the software is equally great in both PC and Mac. So, the obvious decision criteria for me was the "stability" and performance, and future upgrade capabilities. I use Mac Pro, and it's a very nice computer. I don't think I will ever go back to PC again..

As for Leopard, the upgrade would be $99 or so from what I heard. It's not too bad, but then again, I can't speak for everyone. Gluck with your decision.

I always wanted to have a Mac Pro too, but for now, since I'm not so much into imaging and stuff, buying a Mac Pro would be such a luxury for me..
I know and am experiencing the great stability of OSX... makes me surprised all the time...=)

Perhaps, if I have extra money for Mac Pro, I would definitely go and buy it right away...haha

I have 30" monitor, but it's not apple. I bought the Dell for $1299 I believe while it was on promotion. As for core, I have 4 cores. I bought it last year, and 8core is just available not too long ago.

As for running xp within osx, you might want to invest in getting more memory. I do not know how much memory you have, but I run xp to watch the movies, and with 1800x resolution at full, I don't see any degration in quality. But then, I have 4 cores with 5 gig of ram.. ^^

I have 1.5 Gb of memory. I don't want to upgrade anymore coz the previous 512mb memory would be a waste if I buy an extra 1g memory. I tried to sell 512 at 35 bucks, but nobody wanted to buy it. So, I had to lower it to 20 bucks to sell it. I don't want to sell another at 20 again..=)

Anyway, I'm so excited to visit your house and see that monster mac!!! dual of probably core 2 duo 2.66 ghz, and 5 gb memory!! Wow....wow...wow.....hahaha =)

I wish I could be a professional musician, so that I might have a reason to buy a mac pro =)

저도 자금 모집 중이랍니다. 후로꾸라서 맥북사서 윈도우 깔 생각 중.. 한국의 우리 회사직원들도 맥북에 빠져서는 지르고서는 얼마안되 XP깔아서 쓰더군요.

ㅎㅎㅎ 자꾸 여기에 답글을 달게 되네요..^^

저도 맥북쓰는데.. 요놈이 물건이에요. 가격도 착하고 성능도 착하고 무엇보다 디자인착하고..
그런데 문제는... 이 맥북이란놈이 결국 맥북프로 뽐뿌를 일으키더군요....ㅠㅠ
가격이 모 거의 배 이상이니 어찌할수도 없고....

그런데, XP만 쓰실거면 맥북 안사시는게 좋아요. 마우스패드에 버튼이 하나밖에 없어서 부트캠프로 윈도우 돌렸을때 약간 난감하다는...ㅡ.ㅡ;;

언능 OSX 의 매력에 빠져보세요~~^0^

do you use safari, or firefox to make a post on this website? I mean, which one do you use?
