    딸기나무가 아니라 떨기나무... 성경에 나오는 나무가 이 나무랍니다.

    예. 바싹 말라 비틀어지고 나무껍질마저 훨훨 벗겨진 나무의 끝자락에서 나오는 새 가지와 잎이 신기했습니다.

    시간이 좀더 많았으면 맘에 드는 나무를 찾아 하루종일 찾아다녔을 것 같기도 했습니다.
    실은 머리속에 상상했던 나무를 찾고 있었는데 결국 못찾았네요.
    보따리는 한번 더 여행을 가봐야 풀수 있을지도...

    네. 잘 아시는군요.
    구약성서에서 나오는 불타는 떨기나무를 연상할만한 나무를 찾았는데... 다음번에 꼭 다시 찾아보렵니다..

    앗... 그런 해석이... 나무는 멀지 않은 곳에 있었건만...
    그러나 이번 여행에서 제가 찾던 나무는 아름다운 나무가 아니라 좀 심각한 나무들이였어요.
    떨기나무, 사시나무...

    나무결이 휘휘돌아가고 목피가 벗겨진 황폐한 나무이지만 왠지 근육같은 강열한 힘을 저도 느꼈었습니다.

    생물공부만 제대로 했어도 나무에서 딸기를 찾을리가 만무할 터인데 말이죠. ㅋ
    같은 시민권자시면 뵐날이 있겠지요? 저도 뵈러가려고 대기 중입니다.
