?
헉......... 감사쓰면 안되겠군요-_-;;;;;;;

Best Pho Restaurants in Metro Atlanta
Posted July 31, 2007
The ultimate comfort food -- depending on personal tastes, variations on phó would include crunchy tripe, tender long-cooked brisket, savory beef balls, silky tendon” or come as a light chicken version, phó ga. A good phó restaurant’s menu would be expected to list at least 15 to 20 of these.
Whatever your preference, this soup is delicate but filling; fragrant and satisfying.
Phó means “your own bowl”-- something that you garnish and eat individually, not to be shared, as most other Vietnamese customarily are. Phó is serve hot as a meal in great big bowls, with accompaniments and a bottle of chili-garlic sauce (Tuong ot Toi Viet-Nam, if you can get it) on the side.
Pho’96
5000 Buford Highway,
Atlanta, GA 30341
Tel (770) 452-9644
It’s probably the closest thing that you could find in ATL that resemble the authentic pho in Vietnam.
Pho’96 serves the richest and tastiest beef broth on Buford Highway. Most importantly, the broth is prepared with little or no MSG.
Operated by the lady owner Mae and her husband, this place is a favorite among Vietnamese families and new found foodie adventurer.
Located in front of the Buford Highway Flea Market, Pho’96 features different offerings of pho selection. Each order of pho comes with mixture of broth, rice vermicelli, cilantro, sliced onions, a bunch of flavorful dandelions, fresh basils, bean sprouts, lime wedges, and jalapenos peppers.
There are 3 sizes to choose from: “X-Large, Large, and Small.” “Large” (medium) order is recommended for those of you who have a healthy appetite.
The rice noodle is cooked to perfection and you may add to your order -- ranging from round eye steak, brisket, meatballs, tripe, to beef tendons.
Pho’96 menu has a variety of offering from pho, soup noodles, rice plates, and bubble teas. The shrimp roll “goi cuon” wrapped with shrimp, and vermicelli noodles, bean spouts, and mint are prepared fresh only when you order. Served with peanut with hoisin sauce, this is a great appetizer to start your meal with.
Dai Loi
4061 Jonesboro Road,
Forest Park, GA 30297
Phone 404-363-2423
Dai Loi 2
4186 Buford Hwy NE # G
Atlanta, GA 30345
(404) 633-2111
Located on Jonesboro Road in Forest Park, Dai Loi is a fixture among the Vietnamese community in the south side of town and nearby US Army base. Dai Loi opens a second location on Buford Highway at a shopping strip adjacent to the Burlington Coat Factory.
Its tightly packed and lightly fried Cha Gio (fried spring roll) are crisp and greaseless. Dai Loi’s Goi Cuon is packed with shrimp and vermicelli noodles and served with hoisin sauce topped with crushed peanut sauce.
Dai Loi’s beef broth is full flavored, deep and balanced -- perfect along with the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, jalapenos, and fresh juice from the lemon wedges. The meat slices are on the lean side without much fat. However, the tasteful broth compliments the lean meat. The noodles comes out perfect without any clumps or too sticky.
Other than pho, Dai Loi also serve a variety of other Vietnamese specialties such as beef stew and bun (rice vermicelli topped with meat).
Pho Bac
4897 Buford Highway, Atlanta, GA 30341
Tel (770) 986-4273
One of the more established pho restaurants on Buford Highway. The place is packed with Vietnamese and regular mainstream patrons.
It offers a comprehensive menu of pho to match your taste and appetite. Noodles are cooked right without any clumps.
Their meat selection are on the fat side and the broth tends to have a layer of oil. Pho Bac’s broth is hearty and tasty -- much of it laden with MSG.
Pho Bac has a large dining room and it gets busy on the weekend.
Pho Hoa
5150 Buford Highway N.E. , Atlanta, GA 30340
Tel (770) 455-8729
Another established pho restaurant located in the Asian Square Shopping Center. It has a large dining room decorated with fluorescent and cheesy neon lights.
A popular hangout place for Asian teenagers and regulars.
Pho Hoa’s broth is hearty and flavorful. Their pho comes with all the classic fixings (basil, bean sprouts, and so on) at low prices. Any of the dozens of selections is a meal in itself, be it my favorite -- the seafood soup with rice noodles -- or those with beef, chicken, shrimp, or flank steak. There are also plenty of rice dishes -- with beef, vegetables, deep-fried egg rolls, or barbecued pork, and intensely strong iced coffee. For a cheap, hearty, but light meal, this might be the place provided you can overlook the fact that they use MSG and that the atmosphere is nothing more than clean cafeteria-style.
What The Pho?
2442 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA 30096

Do not let its name fool you -- this place serve some serious Vietnamese food ranging from pho, rice plates, to dessert drinks. Located on Pleasant Hill Road in a small shopping strip, this place is easy to find.
The fragrant beef broth is flavored with star anise, ginger and scallion. Thin-sliced beef and brisket are standard additions to the noodles and broth, but the more adventurous can opt for tripe or beef tendon. What goes in next is up to you: A platter of condiments includes basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños and limes, and each table is stocked with fish sauce and chili sauce.
Prices are reasonable and the service is attentive.
New Saigon Bistro
3780 Old Norcross Rd Ste 106, Duluth, GA 30096
Tel (770) 495-8828
This restaurant serve a clear and flavorful broth that would please any hardcore pho consumers. The restaurant owners insisted on lean cut meats and clear broth with less fat for their pho -- more importantly with no MSG added.
A pleasant and nicely decorated restaurant with attentive service. Their menu also offer a wide range of noodles (soup and fried) and rice plates. All meals comes with complimentary dessert -- choice of egg pudding or ice cream and banana cake.
The best dish in the restaurant is not necessary pho -- it is their beef stew noodles. This is an excellent dish taken with a slice of bread especially on a cold day.
